TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition.
As a network architect you are responsible for the overall network design and technical guidance of the NetOps team. You take a hands-on role in driving your team’s engineering practices, their networking an automation skills. You will work closely with the rest of your team to create designs that are complying to TenneTs Enterprise Architecture and a modular & scalable solution that addresses future architectural changes. This while actively helping the team to solve problems, combining an executor role as well as the visionary force behind the technical solution.
As an IT Architect you will work closely with your Domain architect, your delivery lead, product owners and the infrastructure teams. You continuously improve the Domain’s IT architecture standards and overall solution-landscape. You will work with your End-to-End team or Platform team to apply these standards into building modular, scalable and highly performing IT solutions and platforms that meet business needs. You will provide and guard overviews of the current situation, the future state network designs and a clear path to realise these future designs. In the process to realise this, you will involve all your stakeholders; and ensure alignment inside and outside of your team(s).

Requirements:
- You have Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics etc.)
- 7+ years of experience as Technical Lead or senior Engineering/Architect position with hands-on mentality;
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise solution/platform design with the demonstrated ability to bridge business and technical requirements and develop robust solutions;
- Significant exposure to application and integration architecture, software development lifecycle and experience in working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders;
- Ability to objectify decision making while focusing on long-term enterprise goals and architectural vision;
- Belief in a non-hierarchical culture, transparency and trust in teams;
- Good communication and presentation skills and you are organizationally sensitive;
- Fluent in English, German and/or Dutch is an advantage;
- Professional qualifications including relevant university degree or equivalent.
- Must be living in the Netherlands
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
