Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Analyst with technical background for Rabobank for 12 months that can possibly be extended.

Reason:

The client is looking for an external employee for the redevelopment of the Corporate Model and the execution of portfolio and data analysis related activities.

Team:
The Portfolio & Data Analytics team facilitates the alignment of our portfolio with our regional strategy. We provide our stakeholders with actionable information & advice, we comply with regulatory reporting requirements, and continuous improve data quality for effective decision making.

Being part of a team providing valuable insights to our Europe & Africa Wholesale Lending organization and continuously improving data quality, with a focus on solving data challenges to improve our business. Cooperating with your fellow Portfolio & Data Analysts and our stakeholders, you will contribute to the further development of our team as the regional center of expertise for portfolio insights and data management.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the Wholesale Europe & Africa Client portfolio by providing actionable insights and drive initiatives to optimize risk/reward ratios for our region.
  • Coordinate data quality and data availability issues (identify, record, monitor, and manage) and liaise with various stakeholders to expedite the resolution of high impact issues.
  • Advise business lines on various data topics such as portfolio credit risk, client income and returns, and sustainability.
With you as a Portfolio & Data Analyst, the team will consist of 12 diverse colleagues in a variety of roles. It's important that you recognize yourself in the requirements below:

Requirements:
  • Academic level of thinking and working, for example a Master in Finance or Economics;
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience in banking, specifically on the topic of credit risk in the area of Wholesale or Corporate Lending;
  • Strong analytical and project management skills. The candidate must be able to manage senior stakeholders and their expectations, and maintain an oversight of various activities and deliverables;
  • Enthusiastic about digitalization and data quality; and
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (in English)
  • The person we are looking for is able to influence and communicate clearly to different stakeholders, and understands both strategic objectives as well as technical details.
