  • You will work closely together with various (internal) business stakeholders and data scientists.
  • You see yourself as a senior engineer, with extensive programming experience, and have the willingness to help other engineers and take the ownership of the project.

You should expect to work on development, testing and improvement of data-pipelines related to some of Schiphol’s major AI models. Some examples include:
  • A deep-learning based event-detection system that processes camera images to give us insight into what is going on in the turnaround process.

Schiphol is a city of its own and that is reflected in the variety of data sources you’ll work with: ranging from radar data to web visits. Also, it is one of the few places in the Netherlands where you can literally look out of the window and see your software have direct impact.

In terms of tooling we work on Azure. Some examples of components in our stack include Scala/Python, Airflow, Kafka, Kubernetes, Spark (Databricks).
